Prattville QB Larry Smith talks about Vandy offer

Prattville, Ala., quarterback Larry Smith has been one of the most talked about juniors in the south this spring.


The 6-foot-2, 195-pound signal caller has 4.6 speed in the 40 and was a standout last season for the Lions.


Last season, Smith threw for over 2,000 yards and 18 touchdowns, with just two interceptions. Last season he led Prattville to their fifth straight regional championship and a quarterfinal finish in the Class 6A playoffs.


In December, Smith participated in the Alabama North-South all-star game and has been seeing a lot of attention from schools such as Louisville, Vanderbilt, Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, LSU, and several other schools.
