Swinney, Price visit big Sumter offensive tackle

Over the last several days coaches from Auburn, Clemson, Virginia and South Carolina have stopped by to evaluate. Yesterday Auburn defensive ends coach Terry Price and Clemson wide receivers coach Dabo Swinney watched Nunn practice. Also N.C. State head football coach Chuck Amato and assistant Dick Portee were by to scout. State remains the lone offer for Nunn entering the month of June, though that's about to change.

"Coach Price told my coach he wanted me to come to their camp. He said it didn't matter whether I came to the July 10 camp or the July 15 camp. He said I'd be leaving with an offer," Nunn told Tigerillustrated.com in a Thursday night interview.

"Coach Swinney came by, and he and coach Price were watching me practice. It was kind of funny, because a Clemson coach and an Auburn coach were over there, and they were talking a lot," Nunn said. "Coach Swinney told me the same thing. He said he was very impressed. Both of them said they have been scouting recruits in Florida, Georgia and Alabama and they said I was one of the best linemen they had seen. They said I was in top, physical condition, and I had a good pop with my blocking technique."
