Traylor enjoys trip to Palmetto State

Mountain Brook, Ala., defensive end Drew Traylor, one of the best defensive ends in the state of Alabama this year, just completed three unofficial visits.

Traylor's first stop was Atlanta to learn more about the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

"Georgia Tech was nice," the 6-foot-5, 220-pound Traylor said. "The campus kind of surprised me because with it being in the middle of Atlanta, I wasn't sure what to expect. But once you get on campus, you really feel secluded and not like you're in a big city like Atlanta. They also have a brand new student recreation center that was really nice."

Traylor's next stop was the Palmetto State, in which he has relatives in Lancaster, Camden and Georgetown.
