Glades repeats; juniors shine at Auburn camp

Two of Belle Glade, Fla., Glades Central High's top prospects didn't make it to the Plains for Auburn's first of two 7-on-7 passing camps.


However, that didn't keep the camp's defending champs from picking up right where they left off last summer.


Five-star wide receiver Deonte Thompson (ACT) and his counterpart Taurus McKinley (injury) both stayed home this weekend, but Glades Central didn't hardly miss a beat.


While the offence was productive led by quarterback Bryan Mann and junior wide receiver Travis Benjamin, it was the Raiders defense that led the charge.
