Williams misses chance at camp, still likes OM

Despite the summer months and the relative slow-down in recruiting there is still much jockeying to be done by schools.

The rise of summer camps as a recruiting tool is apparent as coaches sometimes 'recruit' players so to speak to attend summer camps as a chance to show off a campus and get an up close look at a player.

This benefits both player and school as each get a chance to check each other out. As witnessed by Ole Miss' recent commitment surge, camps can have a positive impact. So what happens when prospects head elsewhere? Well the opposite can happen so it come as no surprise that New Orleans' linebacker Korey Williams has moved two schools to the top having just visited the campuses of both.
