Fla. OL hopes to visit Terps
Last August when Nease, Fla., and Hoover, Ala., squared off for an ESPN nationally televised season opener, Maryland's most recent scholarship offer was playing nose tackle.
In fact, he played nose tackle throughout the season en route to a 13-2 record and the Florida 4A football championship.
After sending out tapes to many of the top colleges, most of the responses came back telling him that he may be better suited to play on the offensive line in college.
Clyde Yandell and his coaches only expected a few responses, but 15 offers later the Nease coaching staff opted to make the move from 'D' to 'O' for Yandell. Now he is a right tackle.
