Dumphord gains offers

Paris' Chase Dumphord is one of the top offensive line prospects in Kentucky for the class of 2007. Fresh off a stellar junior season, the 6-foot-7, 306-pound senior-to-be has already heard from many of the top colleges in the southeast including the University of Louisville.

While the Cardinals' offer was in the works, both Kentucky and Auburn stepped ahead and offered the future offensive lineman. Kentucky offered first, then Dumphord received an offer from Auburn in the mail. The same day Louisville offered, a coach from Cincinnati called and made a formal scholarship offer as well. More offers could be on the way.

Other interested teams include Tennessee, Wake Forest and Florida.
