Yandell is emerging from Wilson's shadow
Just a few short months ago Ponte Vedra (Fla.) Nease offensive tackle Clyde Yandell was a bit of an unknown. Not so much because college coaches were unaware of him, but rather because it wasn't known how he would preform at his new position.
Heading into the month of April, he had garnered three offers after recording 40 stops his junior year as a defensive tackle.
However, he will move to the other side of the ball for his senior season.
Over the course of the spring evaluation period and early summer camps, college coaches have liked what they've seen of him blocking rather than being blocked.
Yandell now has over twenty offers.
He has received these offers not because he has made early recruiting lists or from name recognition. He's gotten them the hard way - he's earned them.
