VA cornerback Hill is a hot commodity

Cris Hill, a 5-11, 166-pound CB from Highland Springs (VA), has an impressive list of scholarship offers, and along with celebrated teammate C.J. Fleming, makes up one of the best cornerback tandems of any high school team in the country.

A speedy, athletic young player with tremendous potential, Hill earned second-team all-district honors in 2005, helping the Springers post an 8-3 record.

"For Chris, it's just great athletic ability," said Hill's head coach, Scott Burton.

"He's got great body control, a tremendous burst of closing speed, great hands, and he is always within himself in terms of body position. He stays within the framework of his body very nicely."
