Kinne gets closer to decision

It's all down to two for highly recruited Gilmer, Texas, quarterback G.J. Kinne and the visit this past weekend may go a long way towards his decision.

After a trip to Florida, Kinne now took a short-distance trip to Baylor to try and get closer to a decision. The 6-foot-2, 207-pound dual-threat signal-caller this time had a chance to take his mom and step father with him to check out the in-state school. The solid visit may have him closer to decision but also made the process even harder.

"I've been down there before, but my mom got to see what they've been doing with facilities," Kinne said about the trip to Baylor. "We also just sat down and we got a chance to speak with coach Guy Morriss. We talked about all the positives of coming to Baylor and how I could keep this thing going with recruiting."

Kinne says that it's still down to Florida and Baylor but after a visit, it's hard not to name one team with a small edge.

"You know, every time you leave a school they're kind of out in front," Kinne said. "I really am stuck between the two programs though. I want to get out to Florida one more time before I make a decision, but you never know how soon you can get out there.
