Four-star tackle working on Clemson trip

Clemson already has four-star rated defensive tackle Jarvis Jenkins verbally committed, but isn't stopping there, as potentially two more defensive tackles will be taken prior to National Signing Day.

One target still very much on the recruiting board is Ahoskie, NC - Hertford County lineman Tydreke Powell.

The 6-foot-3, 300-pounder attended the Clemson - Nike Camp in May, but well before then was on the national radar. Now entering mid-July Powell can write his ticket, as he told Tigerillustrated.com Sunday night.

"I have 42 scholarship offers now," he said. "Penn State was one of the big offers I got this summer already. Houston has offered, LSU has offered and Texas A&M has offered me now."
