Jones favors a pair

Gerald Jones, the 6-foot, 180-pound Falcon quarterback has been terrorizing defenses in Oklahoma's class 2A for two years now, and earns his 'athlete' listing in the Rivals.com network by featuring as part of Millwood's recently crowned state champion basketball team. If there is something Jones can do for Millwood's athletic programs, he has done it. RedRaiderSports.com recently caught up with Jones for a series of questions related to his recruitment.

Do you have a top five schools right now?

Jones: Not right now, I'm just in the process of doing research. Hopefully by the school year I'll have a top five.

What schools are you looking heavily into right now and are under consideration for your top five?

Jones: I'm looking at Tennessee, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Michigan, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and Virginia Tech. I'm looking at them really heavily, but there's still others I want to look up.

What are you looking for the most from the schools you are considering?

Jones: I want a place with great coaches who treat their players like human beings and not another number. You know, they tell you that "you're our number one guy" then when you get there they just call you as a number.
