Mission Viejo back has strong favorite
While splitting carries with UCLA bound Chane Moline last season, Brian Lockridge made the most of his opportunities. The 5-foot-9, 175-pounder from Mission Viejo, Calif., rushed for 689 yards and eight touchdowns on 70 carries, an average of 9.84 yards per carry.
Lockridge was named second-team all-league.
On the recruiting front, Lockridge has already reeled in written scholarship offers from Colorado and Boise State. Fresno State, Utah, Oregon State and San Diego State have also shown interest.
