Georgia back has ties to Michigan

Marietta (Ga.) Kell running back Jonathan Dwyer is ranked by Rivals.com as one of the top 12 running backs in the country and a four-star prospect. His offer list further backs up his immense talent because many of the top football programs in the country have extended offers. Michigan is one of those schools and they have a unique tie to the Georgia back.

Irv Sigler, Jr., is in his second year as the head coach at Kell High School, but before that he coached at Grandville High School in West Michigan and before event that was a graduate assistant under Gary Moeller at Michigan from 1990-92. Dwyer has a strong relationship with Sigler and asks his coach questions about Michigan when they come up.

Dwyer has visited Florida State, Auburn and Georgia Tech in person this summer.
