After the indoor workouts were complete, the sun came out and several players took part in 7-on-7 passing drills for well over an hour.

Quarterbacks Drew Weatherford and Xavier Lee led the way with both completing several long passes. Freshmen wideouts Damon McDaniel and Preston Parker both had big days and were on the receiving end of several of the long hook-ups. Rising sophomores Rod Owens and Greg Carr, as well as senior Chris Davis, also made some big catches.

Linebacker Jae Thaxton later picked off another pass from Weatherford and returned it the other way. Defensive back Korey Mangum and linebacker Buster Davis chipped in pass break-ups.
