Dawgs looking for a few good d-tackles
When the 2005 season ended, the Georgia Bulldogs knew they'd have to find some new leaders on the interior of a defensive line that lost mainstays Kedric Golston and Gerald Anderson.
Three days into preseason camp, Georgia defensive tackles coach Rodney Garner is still looking for a few linemen to step up and lead the Bulldogs in the middle of their defensive front.
Senior Ray Gant and sophomore Jeff Owens have the advantage of experience with each having started at least one game, but they haven't done enough yet to warrant being named a starter. Neither have redshirt freshman Kade Weston or senior Marquis Elmore.
