Thursday Practice Report: Defense

With two interceptions, it's safe to say that the defense stood out in Thursday's practice. Here are the details on those two picks and more.

  • The first interception of the night came in a red zone drill, when Willie Tuitama was trying to hit a target in the back of the end zone. Instead, he found Dominic Patrick, who picked off the pass..

    The junior safety, known for his hitting ability, has been solid throughout the fall, despite the fact he hasn't been able to show his strength on the field.

    While there are some talented safeties on the team this year such as Michael Johnson, Nate Ness and Brandon Tatum, the Arizona coaches will get Patrick on the field often.
