Monday Practice Report
After having some problems holding to the football during Fall Camp so far, USC running back Emmanuel Moody broke out and had his best practice yet on Monday.
Moody ran wild during the workout and had at least four huge gains running the football. He showcased his cutback abilities, constantly making guys miss without ever fumbling the football.
"I felt really good today and I was really focused," Moody said after practice.
Moody blamed a lack of focus for his earlier problems fumbling the football. He spoke to running back coach Todd McNair after practice about protecting the ball.
"He told me 'keep on having good days like today and to keep it up,'" Moody said. "The most important thing is to protect the quarterback and the ball and I haven't protected the ball the last couple of days. I fumbled like three times."
