Left Tackle Extraordinaire

The Trojans have had their share of stars handle the ball over the past several years. Although he may not bask in the limelight like a Reggie Bush, offensive tackle Sam Baker could end up as one of the most important players of the Pete Carroll era.


We caught up with the All-American after Wednesday's practice to get his thoughts on the line and the new guys he will be blocking for.


This week of practice is kind of a "tweener" since it is the first week of classes but still a week away from the full game preparation week. For the players, it means there are no more two-a-day practices and they can resume a somewhat more normal life.
