Brantley impresses in season opener
Big things are expected from John Brantley this fall. The Texas commitment put up huge numbers in leading Ocala (FL) Trinity Catholic to a state championship in 2005, throwing for more than 2,800 yards (on 63 percent completions) and 41 touchdowns versus just five interceptions.
A five-star prospect and regarded by many as the most polished high school quarterback in the nation, everyone's wondering what Brantley will do for an encore as a senior. Fans got their first glimpse last week, and it looks like it's going to be another season of dominance.
