Too many presents
Arkansas was beaten handily at the hands of No. 6 Southern Cal Saturday night, 50-14, thanks to a stingy defense and several key mistakes by the Razorbacks, but the Razorbacks were in the game, down 16-7, at halftime.
Nearly half of Southern Cal's points (23) were scored off Arkansas turnovers, and with the Trojans dominating time of possession, the game seemed to get out of hand at the end with Arkansas' exhausted defense. "When you've only got half the field to go, you're at the 45 or 50, it makes things pretty easy. So, we made it easy - made it hard for our defense - but I still give them credit. They did a good job executing."
