Junior WR racks up offer

Westlake (Calif.) Oaks Christian in a word is loaded. It is one of the most talented teams to cross Southern California in some time. Oaks Christian will send more kids to the D-I level than some states. The talent level is that good.

When you are a junior on team like this sometimes it is difficult to garner any attention, but wide receiver Chris Potter is beginning to make a name for himself.

Potter made the all-state sophomore team in 2005 after accounting for 37 receptions for 671 yards and eight touchdowns.

Potter had an outstanding off-season and was very impressive in every passing league Oaks Christian participated in.

In two game Potter and his Oaks Christian teammates are 2-0 and have outscored the opposition 109 to 6.

Oaks Christian isn't the kind of school that will pad stats just to make their players look good.

In two games Potter has five catches for 118 yards and two touchdowns while averaging 23.6 yards per catch.

Potter already has an offer from Troy the same school that gave Florida State all they could handle last weekend and is already getting recruiting attention from Ole Miss, Kentucky, San Diego State, Hawai'i, Colorado, Colorado State, Oregon and Michigan State.
