NU Notes: Mann will travel to Iowa State

After missing the last four weeks with a severe case of mono, senior Nebraska center Kurt Mann has made a strong comeback to the practice field.

Mann went through all three days of practice on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and NU head coach Bill Callahan said Mann will be a part of the 70 man travel roster for this weekend's game at Iowa State.

Before missing the last four games, Mann had a streak where he started 24 consecutive games on offense. He was the only player on the team that had started every game on the offensive side of the ball in the Bill Callahan era.

"He practiced all week," Callahan said. "He practiced for the duration of the week and seemingly he's taken every rep.

"I'm sure there have been some lapses where he's been a little bit weak here and there, but by and large he's gutted it out and he's done a heck of a job preparing himself. I'm really proud of him"
