Another loss for Arizona

After falling to UCLA by the score of 27-7, the third consecutive loss for the Wildcats, Arizona's overall record is now 2-4 and 0-3 in the Pac-10.

It was a game of backups as both teams' starting quarterbacks left the game in the first half. Arizona's backup Adam Austin stepped in for Willie Tuitama midway through the second quarter. Tuitama left the game with a concussion he received from a helmet to helmet blow from UCLA defensive end Bruce Davis.
