D.J. Monroe knows where he'd like to be

D.J. Monroe has been a busy man for the Angleton Wildcats. The 5-foot-9, 165-pound blue-chip prospect starts on both sides of the ball, lining up at free safety on defense and tailback on offense. But Monroe doesn't just hold down a starting spot, he's a team leader on both offense and defense.

Through the early part of the recruiting process, Monroe has picked up early interest from schools such as Texas, Purdue, Oklahoma State and Oklahoma, and he's hoping for more attention as the months wear on.
