Arnold 're-evaluating' NU commitment

Three-star safety David Arnold, one of the highest rated players in Northwestern's Class of 2007, is "re-evaluating" his commitment to the Wildcats and has decided to visit Indiana.

Arnold, a 6-foot, 180-pounder from Copley (OH), committed to Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald on August 29. But after making an unofficial visit to Evanston on October 14 to watch the Wildcats play Purdue, Arnold decided to re-open his recruitment.

Arnold said that his visit to Northwestern was "alright" and that the reasons for his decision were "kind of confidential." He said he was going to take an official visit to NU on November 11 to watch the Cats take on top-ranked Ohio State.
