Vols Continue Quick Start to Class of '08

Getting an early start is one thing, but the Tennessee Volunteers are giving new meaning to the phrase as it relates to their recruiting efforts in the Class of 2008. With the commitment this week of Toccoa, Ga. running back Tauren Poole, the Vols are now holding four verbal commitments from high school juniors, an unprecedented number for Phillip Fulmer's program at this point in the process.

Poole (5-foot-10, 195 pounds, 4.5 40-yard dash) joins Maryville tight end Aaron Douglas, Hickory, N.C. linebacker Austin Johnson and Greenville, S.C. defensive back J.T. Floyd as early commitments.
