Powercat of the game: Yamon Figurs

With all due respect to quarterback Josh Freeman, the reigning two-time Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, this week's Powercat of the Game honor goes to a senior who came up big on Senior Day in Kansas State's 45-42 win over No. 4 Texas.

Wide receiver Yamon Figurs played his best game as a Wildcat against the Longhorns and in the process propelled his program to one of its biggest wins in recent memory.

Figurs caught six passes for a total of 123 yards, with two of those catches going for scores, and his big plays came at times when the Wildcats needed them the most.

"We always knew we'd have chances to make big plays; we didn't know when," Figurs said afterwards. "All we really knew was that when the opportunity was there, we had to take them."
