Wright undergoes surgery, out rest of season

Coach Larry Coker addressed the media at UM this morning and said that quarterback Kyle Wright underwent hand surgery yesterday for a broken bone.

"Kyle Wright did have surgery on his hand, his thumb, will not play the rest of the season," Coker said. "We're pressing on, moving forward and expect to play well on Saturday."

Asked if Wright would be out for a bowl game, Coker said, "probably. His best option would be to come back in the spring."
