The following is the final list of Top 10 Tiders for the 2006 regular season. Each Wednesday, BOL senior writer Travis Reier lists his top 10 Tide performers. In effect, the list serves as a week-to-week ranking of Alabama's most valuable players.

2. Antoine Caldwell Last Week: 2
The sophomore has played 681 of a possible 716 snaps (95.1 percent) on offense this season. Left the LSU game in the second half after turning an ankle, but returned a short time later. Also saw action at left guard.

3. John Parker Wilson Last Week: 4
Seven tackles, including five solos in the loss to LSU. Opposing offenses appear to be going away from the junior. Castille's eight total takeaways are the most in the SEC this season.

4. Simeon Castille Last Week: 3
In going against the nation's top-rated defense, Wilson posted career highs in completions (22) and yards (291). Two red zone turnovers were costly, but Wilson's poise and accuracy kept UA in the game. Wilson is 213 yards away from breaking the single season passing yards record of 2,499 yards set by Brodie Croyle last season.

5. Wallace Gilberry Last Week: 7
Played a large role in UA's improved pass protection at LSU. Was able to keep LSU senior DE Chase Pittman in check with relative ease. Stakes will go up this week with Quentin Groves and Marquies Gunn coming to town.

6. Andre Smith Last Week: 5
Struggled early in the game before rallying to finish with nine tackles at LSU. His 49 tackles in conference play are tied for the team lead. Hall's 9.5 tackles for loss are two more than the Tide's next closest defender.

7. Prince Hall Last Week: 6
Three assisted tackles and a half tackle for loss at LSU. Leads the defense in quarterback hurries (9) and is second in tackles for loss (7.5). Gilberry's 34 total tackles lead all Tide defensive linemen.

8. Le'Ron McClain Last Week: 8
Two carries for 11 yards, including a long run of 10 yards, at LSU. Picked up LSU DE Tyson Jackson, giving Wilson time to hit Kenneth Darby on first-quarter touchdown pass. McClain is UA's fourth-leading receiver with 16 catches for 142 yards (8.9 average) and three touchdowns.

9. Nikita Stover Last Week: NR
Oakley had a career-high four catches for 51 yards against LSU on Nov. 11. Each of Oakley's four receptions last week resulted in a first down. Now has 16 catches for 182 yards on the season.

10. Jeremy Clark Last Week: Fringe
Recovered well-executed onside kick in second quarter at LSU. Eight more tackles against the Tigers. Tide's second-leading tackler with 68 total stops. Third on the team in interceptions with three.

SIX ON THE FRINGE: S Jeffrey Dukes; KR Javier Arenas; HB Jimmy Johns; HB Kenneth Darby; WLB Juwan Simpson; WR Will Oakley.
