Secondary shines

Prior to Saturday, many of the pundits questioned the ability of the Trojan secondary to slow down the potent Irish passing attack. Although they failed to pick off a Brady Quinn pass, the USC defenders did bat down several of his offerings. We talked to defensive back coach Rocky Seto about the performance of his group.

Coach Seto has a very young crop of defenders that he often stays after practice with to work on particular plays.

"It is just a little fine tuning," Coach Seto said after Monday's practice. "If you think about it, every guy is a new starter except for Terrell (Thomas) and he has kind of been in and out of the lineup that last couple of years.
