Peters enjoys his visit to Tech

Georgia Tech is still looking for one more big-time defensive lineman in this recruiting class and they hosted one of the best players in the nation this weekend on an official visit. Jason Peters, a four-star prospect from Baton Rouge, La., said he had an outstanding visit to Atlanta.

"It went very well," Peters said. "I had to fly in because of school and time stipulations. After I got there we had dinner and they told us a little bit about the equipment room and the facilities there. The next morning I got up and we toured the schools. They showed us the engineering buildings, science building and the new computer building under construction. We got to see a practice. It was real fun. The guys had a lot of energy out there. It just seemed real exciting. After practice we ate again and then we went out again with our hosts. On Sunday I got up and I had to leave back for Baton Rouge at around 11 o'clock."
