Video: Intense 2008 LB talks Recruiting

One of the linebackers to watch in Georgia next fall is T.J. Pridemore. Pridemore is an intense, hard hitting, and aggressive player that loves contact. UGASports.com traveled over to Buford recently to get an up close look that 2008 linebacker. Come inside to learn a lot more about Pridemore in this video feature.

Prospect: T.J. Pridemore

High School: Buford (Buford, Ga.)

Class: 2008

Position: Linebacker

Vitals: 6-2, 230-pounds, 4.58

Offers: Duke and Mississippi State

Favorites: Open

The Skinny: Pridemore is a hard hitting linebacker that plays with an attitude. He loves contact and will throw his body around. His physical style of play is impressive and he is very good in the box, but the question is, can he drop back in coverage? He doesn't play against many passing teams, so only time will tell. Either way, Pridemore is a definite division linebacker to keep an eye on.

We went over to Buford High School recently to talk with Pridemore about recruiting, his style of play, his early offers, what games he attended this fall, and more.

If you could not watch the interview, then here are some of the quotes from Pridemore.

"We went 12-1 this week and we tried to get better every week since the beginning of the season. A lot of times towards the end of the season, we had a 4 or 5 game streak where the competition wasn't real good, so we were worried about playing ourselves. We went into the playoffs feeling real good and we got #1 Charlton County in the third round. It was a hard loss."

"I'm not really satisfied (with his play this year). You always have to have something to keep you going and to keep you working harder. I feel like I had a pretty good season, but I have to get better for next year."

"I'm physical. I try to be physical when I play and I just try to play fast."

"Duke and Mississippi State have offered me."
