Oklahoma picks up another commitment

Oklahoma came into one of it's biggest recruiting weekends hoping to bear some fruits for it's recruiting labor. While it seemed the Sooners made some great in-roads the only way to truly measure the success of a weekend is how many players are eventually involved in the Sooner program.

One player who made his reservations to be involved with Oklahoma's future successes is New Orleans O.P. Walker wide receiver Tyler Stradford. That's because the 6-foot-2, 175-pound Stradford accepted Bob Stoops' offer on Sunday afternoon.

"I was the last one to go in before I left, and coach Stoops and I talked for about 30 minutes before he asked me 'if I offer, will you commit?' and I told him I would, and he did, so I committed," Stradford beamed. "I had seen everything I needed to see, and I'm excited."
