UGA commits talk All-American performance

Four Georgia commitments were invited to play in All-American games. Two played in the Offense-Defense All-American game in Ft. Lauderdale and two played in the East Meets West All-American game in Orlando. UGASports.com caught up with each one to see what they thought of their performance.

Antwane Greenlee and Aron White played in the Offense-Defense All-American game down in Fort Lauderdale on January 4.

Greenlee started for the East at left tackle and White started for the West at tight end.

Here is what they had to say about the event and their performance.

Greenlee: "I think I played pretty good at the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl," said Greenlee. "I went up against some very good defensive ends (Cliff Matthews and Carlos Dunlap) during practice and they made me better. I think the ends I went up against in practice were better than the guys I went up against in the game."

"I really improved my pass blocking down there. I think I learned a lot and just got better. I was very happy to be selected to play in the game and I felt I had a very good week. In practice, I got a lot better and in the game, I think I played very well. I had one pancake block and the East OL's gave the quarterbacks all day to pass. I am definitely happy with the way I played."

White: "I felt special to be playing at a game with those kind of players involved. Usually in high school, all of were like the man, but out there, we were all just another guy. It made me want to go in the weight room more and it really showed me how tough college is going to be. It was tough, but I definitely felt I belonged out there."

"It was tough at first in practice because I had been playing basketball and away from football for a while. But, after a day or so, I think I really came on and played real well. In the game, I had 4 receptions for 31-yards and I was happy with my performance."

"I also met some people and made some new friends, so I was happy about that. I met Greenlee and I got to spend a little time with him before we play at Georgia together, so that was great too. Overall, it was a lot of fun, a great experience, and I got a feel for how it will be on the next level."
