Theron Kadri talks about Vandy official
On November 24th, the Vanderbilt coaching staff secured a commitment from west Tennessee defensive end Theron Kadri. The 6-foot-3, 245 pound standout from Brighton High became a sought after prospect for the Commodores after he blossomed during his senior year.
During his senior year, the Cardinal standout posted 80 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, five sacks, two forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, 13-15 quarterback hurries, two pass deflections, and also recorded a safety and a few blocked kicks in helping Brighton to another run at the Class 4A playoffs. For his effort, Kadri was named a first team All-Region 7-4A team and was also an academic all-region selection. All this while still suffering the effects of a shoulder injury.
