In-state battle brewing for OL?

Michigan State will graduate 4 offensive linemen after the 2007 season. For that reason, Head Coach Mark Dantonio and his staff are making offensive line recruiting an early priority for the class of 2008. SpartanMag.com was recently able to speak with one of the top offensive tackle prospect in Michigan for next year, Rocko Khoury of Traverse City West High School.

Khoury is listed in the Rivals.com database as being 6-foot-4, 253-poumds. That data however is a bit out of date. That information comes from his sophomore year when he attended the NIKE Combine in Columbus, Ohio. Khoury currently checks in at 6-foot-5, 278-pounds.

As far as recruiting, though it is still very early, Khoury indicated that the Spartans and Wolverines have both been in regular contact.
