Is Mizzou set on the offensive line?

Each day from now until March 13th, PowerMizzou.com will preview a different aspect of spring football 2007 for the Tigers. We begin with our in-depth preview of each position. Today, we look at offensive line, where some promising youth could push returning starters.

The Starters: Adam Spieker, Tyler Luellen, Monte Wyrick and Ryan Madison return from a year ago. Joining them in the starting five will be Kurtis Gregory, who should replace Joel Clinger at right tackle. Gregory is the best of a very talented group of young linemen.

The Backups: Dain Wise will play plenty and push for a starting spot at guard. Tim Barnes and James Stigall also figure to play prominently. The biggest question may be at tackle, where Missouri needs a third player to emerge. Colin Brown likely gets the longest spring look.
