Dawgs open spring camp

The Georgia Bulldogs had 12 scholarship players heading into spring practice a few weeks ago and that number is now 11 on day one. The Bulldogs had only seven healthy linemen at one point last season, so any losing any player even in the spring could hurt Georgia down the line.

Seth Watts is no longer a member of the Georgia football team. Watts a slated to play center and guard this spring behind senior Fernando Velasco and redshirt freshman Chris Davis.

"We are a man short now and we have a big hole to fill," said Davis of Watts departure. "We have to step up as a unit and the young boys have to step up."
