Tough Pa. linebacker looking at State

No conference in the country is more famous for linebackers than the Big 10, from recent stars like Paul Posluszny and A.J. Hawk to past greats like Dick Butkus and Jack Ham. Michigan State has had its share of great linebacker over the years from players like Butkus Aware winner Percy Snow rot NFL legend Brad Van Pelt.

New Spartans head coach Mark Dantonio is looking to upgrade the linebacker position with players that fit the physical style of play he wants plans on implementing in East Lansing. One of the players the Michigan State staff is taking a very close look at is Mike Yancich of Trinity High School in Washington, Pennsylvania. SpartanMag.com spoke with Yancich last night and he gave us some details.

Yancich is physically impressive linebacker that checks in at 6-foot-2, 225-pounds.
