Hard work has paid off for Williams

If there is a lesson to be learned in the recruiting process of Davenport (Fla.) Ridge linebacker prospect Vincent Williams, it is that hard work seldom goes unrewarded - and his reward came in the form of bookend offers from two Sunshine State powers. Back in mid January, the University of Florida was the first to extend an offer and then a week ago, longtime family favorite Florida State verbally offered during an unofficial visit to to the Tallahassee campus.

Actually, over the past ten days he has visited each program.

Two Saturday's ago he was at Florida State for a Junior Day and then this past Wednesday he once again visited Florida.

The pre-evaluation Rivals100 member spoke with GatorBait.net about the two unofficial trips.
