Exciting news at quarterback
One of the major complaints of BC nation during the Tom O'Brien/Dan Bible was the lack of flexibility at the quarterback position. By this we mean the inability of the BC quarterback, regardless of his experience or mental capacity, to audible at the line of scrimmage. Well, it seems that those days are over.
"Matt Ryan is a very smart and talented quarterback," said new BC Offensive Coordinator Steve Logan. "And he'll be calling the two-minute drill for us during games. We're setting him up with a wrist band with a set of plays he can choose from. It will be a limited selection of plays because when you're calling more than one play in the huddle in a two-minute drill, you don't want to confuse things too much. But Matt will be the guy calling those plays for the most part. Coach Jagodzinski and myself will have input of course, but you need to have trust in your quarterback."
