A summer decision for Rivals 250 lineman?

As a member of the Rivals250 to watch for the class of 2008, San Jacinto (Calif.) offensive lineman Ryan Dannewitz is one of the more hotly recruited prospects on the West Coast this year. He has scholarship offers from around the Pac Ten as well as the rest of the nation. Where does Oregon stand with Dannewitz? Duck Sports Authority has the latest.

Spring practices are about ready to start in the Golden State, and the big lineman is ready to get going

"We start tomorrow afternoon," he said. "We have practice for three weeks at three days a week. That's what they limit us to. We're not allowed to wear pads either."

After his spring drills are completed the "skill position" players typically move on to 7-on-7 leagues during the summer months. Dannewitz and his fellow linemen will compete also.
