Lockridge puts his team first

Above everything else, Brian Lockridge is a team-first player. The 2007 Colorado signee averaged nearly 10 yards a carry during his high school football career.

But playing on a prestigious Mission Viejo (Calif.) High program that featured other dynamic ball carriers, including 2006 UCLA signee Chane Moline, Lockridge did not rack up huge yard totals.

He gained 1,383 yards on the ground as a senior, 1,000 his junior year and 1,220 as a sophomore.
