2009 Oku interested in the Buckeyes

The state of Oklahoma has not been a recruiting hotbed for the Buckeyes in recent memory but for Class of 2009 running back David Oku it is a trend he wouldn't mind changing.

The 5-foot-10, 180-pounder has already seen interest in him rise after a stellar performance at a NIKE camp but the Midwest City (Okla.) prospect is interested in hearing more from the Buckeyes.

Oku is reporting offers from Auburn, Minnesota, Tennessee and Texas Tech. Other schools of interest include the Buckeyes, Cal, Florida, Florida State and Oklahoma. Oku benefitted from having a NIKE camp so close to home and made the most of his time in front of the eyes of college coaches.
