Austin up to three offers

As the recruiting season continues full steam ahead, there are more and more players emerging with multiple offers each day. Darius Austin out of the Houston area(Booker T. Washington) is one such player.

"I'm up to 3 offers now" said Austin. "I have offers from Texas A&M, SMU and Louisiana Lafayette just offered me too."

When asked if Austin had been in contact with the TCU staff at all, he had this to say.

"I went to a satellite camp at Katy and talked to the coaches a lot there. I met the head coach and talked to the receivers coach and defensive backs coach. The defensive backs coach told me that even though I didn't play that much corner last year that I could line up there at the D-1 level. They didn't offer me but we had really good discussions. I won't be going to the camp in Fort Worth because all of the coaches have already had a chance to see me and they said they liked me a lot."

Some players like the recruiting process more than others and Austin seems to be a guy that's taking it all in and enjoying this once in a lifetime experience. When talking to him it's apparent that he is having a great time with all of the attention that's coming his way.

Will he line up at receiver, return kicks, or roam the secondary? As of right now, it's anyone's guess but one thing is for sure, Austin will be a threat any time he touches the ball at the next level.
