Recruiting hits overdrive for Virginia ATH Roberts

Smithfield (Va.) running back/wide receiver Dyrell Roberts (6-foot-2, 190 pounds, 4.45 pounds) has been a priority recruit for the Cavaliers from the start of his junior season. Virginia was the first program to offer Roberts but since that time many more programs have joined the chase. UVa was considered the leader a month ago, but Roberts' recruitment is intensifying. Where do the Cavs stand now?

"Virginia is still up at the top of my list. They have some company from Virginia Tech as well, but I am trying to remain open to all schools at this point," said Roberts.

East Carolina, which received a visit from Roberts last week, North Carolina, NC State, Marshall and UConn have all offered the Smithfield standout.
