Georgia's Adams Favors Two Schools
Thanks to last year's class, Tennessee can be choosy in targeting wide receivers in 2008. But one prospect who seems to have caught the Vols' eye is Kennesaw, Ga. receiver Darvin Adams. A player with a handful of SEC offers already, he has Tennessee on a very short list of favorites at this point.
Adams (6-foot-2, 181 pounds, 4.55 40-yard dash) was the MVP among receivers at the Athens NIKE camp in April, and his stock has been rising steadily since.
Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Ole Miss are among the schools who Adams claims offers from. From that list, he's got a couple of definitive leaders.
