Turner has his Turn

In most programs when a 6-foot-5, five-star receiver with great hands and speed arrives on campus it doesn't take long for him to crack the starting lineup.

But USC isn't most programs.

Now a junior, Patrick Turner is poised to have a breakout season and help the Trojans reach their 6th straight BCS Bowl and a shot at another national championship.

When Pete Carroll arrived on campus the defensive minded coach quickly figured out that big receivers were the way to go.

He brought in Mike Williams and Dwayne Jarrett, both of whom became stars during their freshmen seasons.
