Holloway heating up

Hempstead (NY) point guard Terrell Holloway hasn't been spending his days in between AAU tournaments lounging around his Long Island neighborhood. Instead the No. 103 ranked player in the Rivals 2008 Top 150 has been honing his skills in another league.This one is populated with current college players and a few NBA veterans keeping in shape during the off-season.

Players come from local universities like St. John's, Hofstra, Long Island University and Stonebridge. Holloway, however, is the only high school player in the league.The 6-foot, 175-pound Rivals.com three-star prospect has scholarship offers from Cincinnati, South Florida, Tennessee, St. John's and Oregon State. He is also receiving heavy interest from Texas A&M.
